Everyone can look at themselves in these madrigals as if in a mirror

Soprano Roberta Mameli and lutenist Luca Pianca take us back to J-B Lully’s Italian roots: the one-voice madrigal born in Florence under the impetus of Monteverdi, a repertoire of richness and surprising modernity.

We can all connect with the lyrics and melodies and experience the emotions, fears, tears and joys of several eras.

The magical stage of the Drottningholm theatre will add a changement à vue - a scene change of stage decorations - and after the concert we mingle with the artists in the Déjeuner Salon!
