Drottningholms Slottsteater, the Court Theatre at the Royal Domain of Drottningholm, is a one-of-a-kind treasure, being the only 18th century stage in the world with original sets and stage machinery intact and still in use in productions. The building holds immense cultural value and serves as a significant heritage for early music. The theatre offers a rare opportunity to experience music and performances in authentic 18th-century setting.

To maintain the integrity of the theatre, top-tier musicians and singers, along with the collaboration of artists and stage technicians, are required to create unforgettable experiences. Due to its delicate nature, the stage can only be used 40 times per year, and great care is taken to preserve it.

However, Drottningholms Slottsteater faces financial limitations and is in need of the support of enthusiasts, philanthropists, and corporate partners to continue delivering exceptional opera performances for both Swedish and international audiences.
