Zachary joined the expansive Monteverdi 450 tour led by Sir John Eliot Gardiner; he sang in Handel's Radamisto with Il Pomo d'Oro conducted by Francesco Corti; and paerformed the role of Erinda in the revival of Sartorio's L’Orfeo at the Opéra de Montpellier, directed by Philippe Jaroussky and staged by Benjamin Lazar. Highlights include his role as Telemaco in Monteverdi's Il Ritorno d'Ulisse in Patria, in partnership with tenor and conductor Emiliano Gonzalez Toro, featuring an extensive tour across European cities; and a tour of the Saint Matthew Passion with the Freiburger Barockorchester (Montpellier, Paris, Barcelona, Budapest, Zurich, Seoul, etc.) conducted by Francesco Corti. Collaborations also encompass his portrayal of Basilio in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro alongside Raphaël Pichon as well as of Agenore in Mozart's Il Re Pastore at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, conducted by Christina Pluhar.

Music director at Drottningholms Slottsteater Francesco Corti is harpsichordist, organist and conductor with a repertoire focused on Baroque music and the classical period. He regularly leads orchestras such as Les Musiciens du Louvre and Pomo d'Oro and has made many recordings as a conductor, soloist and chamber musician. Since 2016 he teaches harpsichord and basso continuo at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel, Switzerland, one of the world's leading music institutes for early music. In Journey of Orpheus Francesco plays clavisymbalum, an early keyboard instrument and ancestor of the harpsichord.

Anna Danilevskaia began her musical training at the age of six playing different instruments. At fifteen, she discovered the bowed fiddle and consequently the viola da gamba. She studied with Pedro Memelsdorff in Barcelona, and later at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, focusing on medieval fiddle. In 2014, she founded her own group, Sollazzo Ensemble dedicated to the music of the Middle Ages and the early Renaissance. As an ensemble director Anna explores different ways of approaching the repertoire she has selected which allowes her to develop a musical language of her own. In Journey of Orpheus Anna plays vihuela de arco, a bowed stringed instrument that originated during the medieval period in the Iberian Peninsula.

Andrés Locatelli is musician and musicologist. As a recorder player, he has collaborated extensively with some of the most celebrated early music orchestras and ensembles across Europe. He is particularly interested in sacred and secular polyphonic music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras, and experimental interdisciplinary projects based on early music. Andrés i Andrés is member of the Drottningholm Theatre Orchestra.

The Royal Chapel is located in the northern part of Drottningholm Palace. Architect Nicodemus Tessin the Younger completed the construction at the beginning of the 18th century according to his father's (Tessin the Elder) drawings. The interior works were carried out under the direction of Carl Hårleman. The church was consecrated in 1730. Some additional work was done in 1740 and in May 1746 the church was re-consecrated. At that time, Princess Lovisa Ulrika of Prussia had already received Drottningholm Castle as a wedding present when she married the Swedish heir to the throne, Adolf Fredrik.
