Philanthropists and private donors
As a private donor, you will receive a personalised service in all contacts with us. We can organise talks, music soirées, guided tours or other inspiring activities. Would you like a private lunch, dinner or an exclusive reception during the interval, before or after a performance? We will make sure that it is an unforgettable experience in the extraordinary environment of the theatre building.
We offer priority access to all performances and concerts, and make sure you have the programme well in advance in order to be able to plan your visits.
You can get involved at different levels with both small and large amounts. For larger donations, we customise the collaboration to focus on what you are passionate about and give you the opportunity to closely monitor your donation.
Curtain level +SEK 1 million
The curtain dates from the time of Lovisa Ulrika. In an allegorical composition, Minerva - goddess of wisdom, patron of arts and crafts - appears in a cloudy sky holding flower festoons that form Lovisa Ulrika's name cipher.
Thunder level +SEK 500 000
The sound of thunder adds a drama. Above the stage we find the thunder machine - a large box filled with rocks that is tilted back and forth using ropes and blocks. For a more subtle thunder at distance, a cannonball can be rolled on the sloping stage floor.
Wind level +SEK 100 000
The old wind machine enhances a storm scenario. The wind machine is a drum of perpendicular thin ribs rotating against a coarse linen fabric. The varying speed of the rotation creates the illusion of the wind blowing.
