Retrospecting 2025
We look back on a wonderful summer season were we have treated our audience to an opera day camp for children with special needs, concerts, productions both for our young audience and one for adults. Through guided tours and academy work for young singers, lectures and craft courses in our ateliers as well as a costume exhibition we have educated our audience in the history of our theatre house.
We have also completed the first stage of our major project to conserve our original stage sets, so that future generations will be able to enjoy an essential part of our theatre. We are proud to present our new fibre-optic lighting system - at last we can experience an illumination of the stage and sets in a historically informed manner which let us come as close to the original lighting effect of the 18th century lighting placed in the scenery and footlights.
“at last we can experience an illumination of the stage and sets in a historically informed manner which let us come as close to the original lighting effect of the 18th century lighting”
Thank you to everyone who has visited us and been part of our summer, and a special thanks to those who have contributed with funds that made it possible for us to realise our plans. We depend on your support to care for the theatre and to present artistic productions at an nternational level - which our world-unique theatre deserves.
