Ticket release 25 of November

The 25 of November at 10.00 o'clock we will release the tickets of next year's summer production - the magnificent L’incoronazione di Poppea by Claudio Monteverdi.

The opera will premiere at 1 of August and will be performed to the 15 of August with a total of 8 performances.

The Drottningholm Court Theatre's musical director Francesco Corti will conduct an artistic ensemble of highest international standard and we are proud to present next year's casting momentarily.

In the summer of 2026 Claudio Monteverdi's masterpiece The Coronation of Poppea will be given at the Drottningholm Court Theatre. The Theatre's musical director Francesco Corti will conduct the artistic ensemble and the role of Poppea will be cast by the celebrated Italian soprano Giulia Semenzato. Internationally renowned Benjamin Lazar will be directing L’incoronazione di Poppea.

Theatre bus tickets

A comfortable bus will take you directly back to Stockholm city after the performance/concert. The bus stops at T-Fridhemsplan and at the Central station/Stockholm City. Purchase when buying opera tickets, the ticket is SEK 140.

opera package with boat and dinner

In collaboration with Strömma we offer a lovely opera package to the performances 3, 5, 7, 11, 13 August.
The package includes a boat trip from Stockholm, a two-meal dinner on board, the opera performance on row 15-18, and bus back to Stockholm.
The opera packages are available via www.stromma.se. The boat leaves from Klara Mälarstrand, near the City Hall (Stadshuset) in Stockholm.
